We have a full day charter that will run from Elkins to Spruce , West Virginia and return, a distance of 128 miles roundtrip pulled by two classic diesels painted in the historic Western Maryland Speedball lettering. Our train consist will include several older vintage freight cars and a passenger coach to resemble a classic West Virginia local branch line mixed train.
Motive power will be a WM F7-A and a rare WM BL-2 coupled back to back. The F7-A will lead on the run from Elkins to Spruce. Then on the return journey the power will run around the train at Spruce so that the BL-2 will be in the lead. Photo run-bys will be made each direction.
