NOTICE
We will not be mailing out a color brochure for the 2009 season. We are trying
to keep expenses down and keep these railroad tours affordable for you, our good clients. We will be mailing
out a post card to all persons on our mailing list in late September 2008 with the list of 2009 tours being
offered. Upon request we would be most happy to print out the website details in full color for any of our
2009 tours and mail it to you. Beginning in 2009 we will be promoting and selling our tours from the Trains
Unlimited, Tours website. This will include using the internet and e mail as much as possible for invoices
and correspondences.
NEWSLETTER VIA E MAIL
On May 12, 2008 we sent out our first Newsletter by e mail. Since then we have sent out four newsletters
and will continue to do so every few weeks. If you want to have the latest updated information and be on
our Newsletter mailing list please send us your E mail address now. If you already are receiving our
Newsletter via e mail then we have you in our computer already and you need not contact us. This form of
communication will offer to you the most current tour information which includes any updates, new tour
listings, special offers, price information and limited discounts that will only be available to those persons
on our e mail list. Our list is growing fast and as of August 1, 2008 we already have over 10,000 persons on
our E mail list. We would like to get as many persons as possible on this mailing. Our postal mailing list
sent out the old fashion way via the US Post Office has over 250,000 addresses worldwide and the printing
and postage has become very expensive. Each year we pay over $US 100,000 just for postage!

RAILFAN/RARE MILEAGE TOUR
Rare freight only trackage on the Arizona Eastern Railroad out of Globe, Arizona. This is a former Southern
Pacific branch line that diverted from the Sunset Route at Bowie. We will have a freight consist pulled by
steam locomotive No. 18, a Alco 2-8-0 which once ran on the Grand Canyon Railroad and most recently on the
San Luis and Rio Grande Railroad out of Alamosa, Colorado up over La Veta Pass. No. 18 is being moved down
to Globe for the winter months and will be returned to Alamosa in the Spring. Our two day excurison will
include a roundtrip between Globe and Bowie, one night's lodging in Safford, Arizona and box lunch/drinks
each day. Plenty of photo run-bys will be made each day.

RAILFAN TOUR
Our rail tour of Australia starts and ends in Sydney and works it way south to Melbourne visiting railroad museum's
and riding some mainline steam Excursions and regular scheduled trains and ferries. This includes a doubleheader
between Picton and Glulburn. We will also visit the Lllawqarra Light Railway, the Zig-Zag Railway, the Newport Railway,
the Puffing Billy Railway with a narrow gauge Garratt, the Mornington Peninsular Railway and the Melbourne trams.
Our 600 mile journey between Sydney and Melbourne will be onboard the Australian built HST train. From Melbourne we
then fly north to Cairns which is more than 1000 miles in Northeastern Australia in Queensland. At Cairns we spend
the next several days on the Savannahlander which is one of the most exciting and remote outback rail experiences
in Australia. We will be onboard a unique railcar that will take us southwest deep into outback country to Forsayth
and return, a total of 531 miles. Stops will be made at point of historic interest and several photo run-bys will
be also preformed each day. Upon arrival back in Cairns we continue by train southbound along the Eastern Australian
coast back to Sydney.

Come to Idaho with us for three days in June and experience some rare mileage on the Idaho Northern and Pacific Railroad.
We have been given permission from railroad management to cover most of the system with a private charter train that will
include photo run-bys each day. On the first day we depart Emmett and run westbound to Payette and return. On the 2nd
day we run our charter northeast out of Emmett to MP 77 location where a tunnel is out of service. We will run up
to the tunnel and then back down to Banks and tie up . On the 3rd day we will have a different charter train and motive
power for the run southbound out of Cascade to Smiths Ferry and return. Motive power that will be used on this three
day event will be GP 7's and an F unit. Two nights lodging and box lunch/drinks included each day.

We are pleased to announce the rebuilding and reopening of the famous Guayaquil and Quito Railroad in the South
American country of Ecuador. It has been a long time coming but by August 2009 most of the rail system will be
back in operation. Our journey starts in Guayaquil and travels northbound to Quito using both charter steam
pulled trains and railcars. There will only be two gaps that has not been totally rebuilt yet. We will need
to use a bus to transport the group from one train to another waiting train . Our tour will also include a
charter railcar trip on the remote San Lorenzo Railroad. Highlights of this trip include: Charter steam and
railcars in the rugged Chan Chan River Canyon, the Devil's Nose Switchbacks and the Avenue of the Volcanoes,
all in the South American Andy Mountains. We will visit such interesting locations as Cotopaxi National Park,
Riobamba, Quito , Center of the World Monument, and the famous Otavalo Indian Market. A total of 21 meals
are included. We are also offering a 5 day extension to the Galapagos Islands with a cruise onboard the
luxury M/V Galapagos Legend which will include daily landings and exploring the islands of Baltra, Bartolome,

Our Swiss Rail Adventure tour is an in depth look at Switzerland by Rail. Each traveler will receive a first class
Swiss Rail Pass for use during the tour. This is a tour aimed at the railfan traveler, train rider, and mileage
collector. General tourism is limited, but the trip does include some of the most famous tourist rail experiences.
We have chosen the hotels for this tour because they are close to the railway stations in most cases. Some are in

everywhere, but perhaps the most wonderful part is that it combines new and old, from the famous Shinkansen "Bullet"
trains, to 1920's streetcars and interurbans, to a surprising number of steam lines-some even operated by the former,
now privatized, Japan National Railroads (JR). This tour, led by Japanese and American rail experts, will provide you
with an in depth looks at railroads in Japan, and at the same time offer limited opportunities for shopping and tourism.
Travel on JR lines will be in first class (Green Class) using an unlimited ride JR Pass that will be provided to each
